AREAS OF PRACTICE

POSTURAL ASSESSMENT + CORRECTION

This is the first step to your health and fitness goals.  Our therapists will go over your intake form, watch you move, walk, stand and provide a movement assessment so we can see where your compensation patterns are.   An objective evaluation of your posture generates a personalized exercise routine for lasting changes to your alignment. Can be used in conjunction with other services or individually.

ORTHOPEDIC MANUAL THERAPY

Orthopedic Manual Therapy uses soft tissue work,  joint mobilizations and muscle activation  to, break up scar tissue, ease pain and improve flexibility and alignment. This unique multidisciplinary approach will eliminate even the most complex pain conditions and will facilitate myoskeletal alignment through the body. Orthopedic Manual Therapy can be scheduled in 30 minute or 60 minute (recommended) sessions.

FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT + REHABILITATION

Functional Movement training sessions improve functional strength through coordinated exercises activating the nervous and muscular systems. Training begins with a physical assessment and evaluation. From there we incorporate breath work, muscle activation techniques, strength and core stability and a number of targeted activation activities to reduce pain and injury.

SPORTS PERFORMANCE TRAINING

Sports Performance Training sessions dramatically improve physical ability and reduce injury in athletes of all levels from novice through professional. Sessions are structured to take athletes to the next level by building on functional movement techniques and training. Sports Performance includes training in strength and conditioning, speed and agility, and power production to maximize athletic performance, balance, coordination, energy capacity and so much more!

Sports Massage

Sports massage is reported to have many beneficial effects in athletes. Sports massage can be used pre-performance, post-performance, during training, or for rehabilitation. From elite athletes to recreational exercisers, it is a popular choice. Learn more about what it is used for and which benefits are supported by research. Sports massage is a systematic manipulation of the soft tissues of the body that focuses on muscles relevant to a particular sport.

Reiki

Since we are made of Energy, Reiki aids in balancing the energies in our body.
This makes the bodywork in a harmonious state reducing physical and emotional stress. A reduction in stress has a huge impact on the body’s function with many benefits such as stronger immune system, better sleep, a faster healing process when it comes to injury and supports any other treatments (cancer, therapy, or any other healing modalities. There is no harm or bad effects. All people benefit, there are no contraindications with any health conditions.

The mission here at Pro To Col Sport Systems is to coach ourselves out of a job. Our clients get to be active participants in their coaching and therapy. In our opinion, training is about understanding movement, coaching is about understanding the theory behind that movement. Our number one goal is that the client can not only complete their therapy and training, but has ownership of their process of their movement and health. If we’ve haven’t given the client the knowledge and the wings to fly and excel on their own, we have failed them.
